Basic Skills

You want to use our facilitie on your own? In one to one and a half hours our Basic Skills class will teach you the essential safety skills needed to climb at the DAV Kletterzentrum Wupperwände. You’ll learn to properly put on a harness, tie into the rope and belay for a partner. You can then use our facilities without the aid of an instructor. Pre-registration is required.

Duration: 1,5 hours

Price: 20,00 Euro / reduced* 17,50 Euro including harness, instructor fee and daily rate

DAV TOP ROPE SCHEIN

This class is for all beginners who want to get comprehensive knowledge in climbing safely and to enhance their climbing techniques. During class we teach adequate knowledge of top rope climbing which will be essential to climb indoors and outdoors. In the last session you can receive a certificate.

Content of the class: basic knowledge of climbing material, knots, getting to know different belay devices (HMS, ATC, "Eight"), practical introduction to climbing techniques

This class can be an advantage for those who wish to take part in the leading class. 

Duration: 4 x 2 hours Price: 75,00 Euro / reduced* 65,00 Euro, Kids** 38,00 Euro including material, instructor fee and daily rate (minimun of participants 4)
